Light of the Rising Sun is a collection of poems from 1984 through 1990. There are no remaining journals from this time period. The span takes us from elementary school through junior year at high school. Most of the poems are therefore, very simple and even childish. They, never the less, provide a clear window into the life of an adolescent girl. Most are not worth a second look, but there are some I value and even a few that I consider descent.
