Slipped on a Crack

Slipped on a Crack

I slipped on a crack and fell deep into the crevasse,
Not surprising since it was such a slippery slope from the start.
Now I’m sitting here alone in the cold and darkness,
Wondering how on earth I am to mend this aching heart.

The things they say ring true in my ears,
And echo and linger inside my weary mind,
And for all that I think and all that I feel,
I can not bear to leave all hope of you behind.

The story about Louie & life made me sad & even though I’m at work, I now feel like crying. I guess we all have to live with our decisions and in the end accept them as the right decisions. We have to be the first and best Judge of what we do and say. In haste, I have not always made the best decisions, but as I get older, I am more cautious and don’t usually make quick decisions or judgements of myself or others. Sometimes there is no right or wrong.
