After the Cataclysm
No quiet reflection under the midnight moon.
No dancing alone in the sun of high noon.
There are pools of water that can’t see the sky,
And fish under the surface that can no longer fly.
The world has forgotten that there could be two.
One looking up and one looking down at the view.
But some still remember the mirror nature provided,
Before the great cataclysm that left us one-sided.
