Traveling

Traveling

Broken trees and tumbleweeds
and sky that’s drenched in grey
Endless miles of fenced in pastures
We traveled across today.

Empty hills covered in snow
And not another soul in sight
We waged peace upon a silent road
Chasing fog into the night.

Todays traveling has been tiring
And rest is knocking at our door
We welcome it as we well know
In the morning there will be more.
